Practice - Creating a VPM S/MIME Encryption Policy

This policy triggers VPM S/MIME encryption for outbound messages.

To create the recommended VPM S/MIME encryption policy:

1. On the Status window, select a cluster.
2. Under the Manage Policies tab, select the Encryption tab.
   Type “S/MIME Encryption Policy” in the Label field.
3. Select .
   The Glossary and Bindings dialog displays.
4. In the HIPAA Violation (standard) row, select the Body and Attachments check boxes.
5. Click OK.
6. On the Send Options row, select Send. If the ZixSelect option is enabled at the end user desktop, also select the Encrypt & Send button.
7. Select VPM S/MIME in the Delivery Method row.
   Note: You should select more than one option in this field.
8. Click Apply.
